However, I am always glad to arrive safely back home and try to forget that experience as quickly as I can. I expect a similar attitude among most other Java developers. On the other hand, times are changing and bytecode weaving is no longer something that is considered unsound and dangerous. Especially due to wider and wider acceptance of aspect-oriented technologies, developers have started seeing bytecode manipulation as an acceptable alternative.
